Life for me is a kaleidoscope of details. I am constantly viewing my world in frames, angles, light, and colors. I love seeing the things about the world around me that make it so incredible and the people so beautiful. One of my favorite things to do with photography is taking someone who doesn’t think they are photogenic (which, let’s face it, is most of us), capturing the things that make them who they are, and showing them how beautiful they actually are. I love catching a glimpse of a person’s heart.
In my everyday life I spend lots of time with family and friends, play music, work with a non-profit building community and resources for 20-something leaders and dreamers, work occasionally as an radiologic technologist, and learn as much as I can about anything that interests me. I’m a social media explorer, a new music junkie, and I love meeting new people.

Hi Julia! I use a Canon Rebel XTi, it’s 10MP, and a Canon 50mm f1.4 (my most amazing, favorite lens that changed the way I shoot!!) for everything that I possibly can and the kit lens (18-55mm) for wide angle shots. What do you use?
